"Once Wild" Breaking Out Series, Book One

Wreckless in his youth, Shaun MacGregor was never one to care about what people thought of him. But then he returned to the small coalmining town of Ashland, Pennsylvania after serving eight years in prison, and had a literal run-in with town socialite, Maria Bellicia. One night with Maria leads Shaun on a turbulent path to confront all the layers of his destructive past, and face all of the pain, guilt and regret that comes along with it. Each layer that Maria helps peel away reveals yet another adversary and complication that Shaun must either run away from, or fight against. As Shaun struggles to make the right decisions that will finally allow him peace of mind and approval as a citizen of Ashland, Shaun is catapulted to an ultimate crossroad where he must face the biggest obstacle of his life: flee Ashland once and for all, or stay and fight for the only woman who has shown him true love and acceptance.

From the Author:

I hope you enjoy "Once Wild".
This novel evolved while on vacation with my father in Pennsylvania. I met a young man in the similar situation there and it made me wonder how he actually felt and if he ever received any type of acceptance. I also wondered about his difficult future in this small town.

So when you finally sit down to read "Once Wild"  consider this; how would you feel if had been you instead of him.

Thank you for the purchase and by the way,
remember it might have just been you.

Written from a reader.....thanks, Lyne

"I have to tell you that I just read Once Wild and Serranto's Redemption one after the other and I LOVED them. My hubby and kids were wondering why mommy always wanted to read and not do anything else. Seriously, those are the best books I have read in a long time. Thanks for those great moments of reading and please, please continue writing :)" ~Lyne

Brannigan's War" Breaking Out Series, Book Three

Corporal Mitch Brannigan was always one to fight his way through life’s obstacles, and being injured in Iraq was only one more hardship to conquer. Now home in the States, he realizes it is one thing to return from war and feel its affects, but it’s another to accept defeat. He must fight to over come the denunciation and pain that comes with being a U.S. Veteran—and to fulfill a promise between comrades.

As Brannigan begins to believe that his share of strife is behind him, his dutiful mission stations him directly in Emily Billings’ life. Emily proves to be a battle of shear will and critical emotions, as the turmoil of losing her brother causes her to resent everything Mitch Brannigan stands for—but even that doesn’t deter Brannigan from carrying out his pledge. His fighting spirit—or is it arrogance?— is clearly behind him every step of the way, but little does he know that one little promise is about to be his biggest battle yet.

From the Author:
I hope you enjoy "Brannigan's War". This novel became a big part of my life  when I volunteered with an organization, "Homes for Our Troops". HFOT builds and modifies homes for the severely wounded veterans coming back from Afghanistan and Iraq. Ten percent of my profited sales will benefit "Homes for Our Troops" and you can find out more by visiting  http://www.homesforourtroops.org website.

So when you finally sit down to read Brannigan, or any other book, please consider this, you are able to read that book without worry because of our Veterans.
Thank you for the purchase and by the way, don't forget to thank a Vet.

About Me

My Photo
I like to think my novels are overpowered by one thing that we all need to survive, let alone breathe; and that is love -- a touch, an emotion that makes life seemingly bearable and worthwhile. For we all know, in life there is both pleasure and pain but it is in the hurting where we finally acknowledge and appreciate the life given. Every element of who we are is stripped away, exposing what we are truly made of. In the end, we're finally able to find happiness, love, and most importantly, ourselves. It is so basic, so simple, we choose not to see it, or simply can’t.

Accept both pleasure and pain and embrace them.... be mindful however of the one embraced tightly. Make the best of both.

Remember if you veer from that road less traveled, take your dreams, hold tight and press on... no matter how treacherous or tormenting the path may be.
